The Pop Star Portrays a Dark Alter Ego of Herself in Satirical Film Teaser
The celebrated musician is preparing for a significant cinematic onslaught in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist portrays what she describes as a hell version of herself.
It’s the realest depiction of the music business that I’ve ever witnessed, Charli commented.
She elaborated in an interview: It’s far from a live performance documentary, however the inspiration came from the demand to produce one.
An Early Look into The Moment
The initial preview, unveiled on recently, combines actual recordings from her live performances with imagined behind-the-scenes moments.
The film is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who revealed that the plot revolves around a reality where Charli opted for alternate decisions during the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

The film is just one of numerous future movie projects for Charli, who recently featured in three cinematic festival entries in the current year.

She recently joined to star in the star’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.
I am really enjoying my foray into acting, she stated. I’m highly enthusiastic at the moment in that field, and I always choose to take on things that inspire me.
Musical Contributions
The month of February will also bring the launch of the director’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will showcase original songs from Charli.
She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release in the coming year.
The film will be released on 30 January.
